Those definitely are pretty cool pants. Pocketless? They seem a little too baggy for my tastes. Seems similar to sweatpants which many seem to enjoy. Just not for me right now.

unicr0n, that friction problem with your shoe could be because it's too big. It's also a possibility that your technique for jumping isn't quite perfected. When you land there are two primary directional forces. There's your foot being pressed downward into the ground by your weight, then there's your foot sliding forward across the ground because of your forward momentum. Generally when you jump you have to find a balance between these forces.

Landing straight down keeps you from slipping and falling (and your foot won't slip in the shoe). However you won't get anywhere jumping straight up and down. It's the forward or horizontal movement that actually gets you where you're going.

An even mix of horizontal and vertical jump is necessary to achieve the furthest distance. In some cases people may try to jump nearly all horizontal which in your case would account for your foot slipping so much in your shoe. Next time you're jumping, keep this in mind, your shoe size may not be the problem.

Hm fair point about the forces. I toe checked for space and there's about half an inch or less, so they're not huge. One of my feet is a 12 the other is an 11.5 I think.. or maybe one of them is an 11 and one is 11.5, but regardless 12 is the closest I can get to a good fit without specialized shoes, and they seem to be fine. As mentioned, it was only a minor slide and only happened a few times, so for now I'm going to blame it on lack of finesse within the actual form of the jump, which would make sense. The shoes are doing great for everything else.

Yes, they are pocketless. I usually wear them up when playing, and down when I want a nice breeze up my legs when it's cool outside.

I might be the only one that this makes a difference to, but I find that the soap I use after working out has a huge effect on my mentality while exhausted. I feel gross if I use any of the name brand smelly body soaps like any of the old spice or axe brands, plus it's super expensive. I'm a huge fan of good and natural smelling things though, so I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap and it makes me feel great after a work out. The peppermint oil stings nicely and the cold air on it feels great, and I also smell fresh and pepperminty (what's not to like :p) plus a 32 oz bottle goes for about 8 dollars.

Does anyone else have preferences like this? It doesn't strictly deal with parkour so perhaps this is the wrong area, but it's still kind of gear, because hopefully everyone showers after a rigorous workout.

Has anyone tried out Saucony's low-profile "Bullet" shoe?
I saw them while looking for some new shoes the other day and their flexibility looks good but was wondering if anyone knows how good their grip is.

Could be good... but usually shoes are not made with decent grip in mind. It'd make a nice casual shoe anyway.
