That gym is incredible. I'm thinking of signing up for a membership there. Can't wait till the classes start on Sat. Had too much fun getting my butt kicked by Jake&Co on Thursday. So nice to finally have a gym in Seattle!

Oh man the Saturday class kicked my butt! I am still sore from the workout and I didn't even get through the whole thing (had to sit on the old_guy bench with Christian for a while). Can't wait to do it again :D

This looks amazing, I'm going to try to convince the rest of the traceurs in Bremerton to check it out.
*The reason I'm not doing it alone is because they have a car :)
I hit up at the pictures on flickr, looks like the kind of environment we would thrive on.
Enjoyable, and hardcore.
Good luck with the class sizes.

I'll try and come next thursday!

I really wanted to come today, but my body was all like "No! Sit on your butt all day and eat some more food because I'm trying to get bigger!". I should be fine by next week.

Bring her along man :) I bet she'll change her mind when she sees the gym and how we teach.

Cheez, you should definitely go to the class!
Tyson and Rafe do a great job of teaching (as you probably know). After she sees the potential that you can achieve through parkour, combined with the way you are being taught, she'll at least soften up to the idea of you doing this sort of thing.

Last night was great! This is exactly what I'm looking for in terms of parkour training. As I told Rafe last night, I've not trained (consistently) for a long time, so having a class like this is wonderful. I have a lot of other stuff I am training, especially on Thursdays. So I need to figure out how to make everything work....to some degree... :?

I found the class to be paced pretty well, got a great workout of course. I liked that we covered the basics of stuff. Fatigue was setting in from the other classes I did earlier that day, which contributed to my silly ankle roll. Only suggestion would be something slightly smaller to vault over. For someone of my height, I can get over that obstacle just fine, its mostly a mental obstacle for me. Though I'm sure anyone who happens to be shorter wouldn't mind a smaller obstacle either. :)

I'm kind of confused. It says there's classes every second week of the month but here it says that it's 3 times a week. So which one is it? Also what are the times exactly...that's not too clear either.

wednesdays and thursdays are from 7:30 to 9:00.

saturdays are from 12:00 to 1:30.

every 2nd saturday of the month is free for beginners, I believe.

you should come out tonight at 7:30...it'll be awesome and we'd love to have you (not to mention the first class is free).

@cheez:
has your mom read the faq for parents that's posted on the main page? that might help to aleviate any of the concerns that your mom may have...i'm also available to answer any questions that she may have, and i'm sure that tyson and rafe will be happy to as well.
