I just finished talked to the owner of Hart's Gymnastics in Auburn today, and he's very interested in hosting Parkour training sessions in his gyms. This is a great resource to the community, especially for anyone who has a hard time making it up to Burlington (we still love Gordy and his gym!). Right now we're looking at a 5p to 8p schedule. I'm thinking we'll do the first 1.5 hours as a directed seminar, and we can either stop at that point, or go for another 1.5 hours with free practice. So long as this goes well, the owner would like to see us schedule 2 sessions a month on Saturday evenings.

The payment structure will be a punch card structure, so the owner can fit in into the current structure.

4 punches: $50
8 punches: $100
16 punches: $190

1 punch = 1.5 hours

That works out to $12.50 per punch for the 4 and 8 punch cards and $11.88 per punch for the 16 punch card. The punch card system works out nicely because you basically pay in advance and just show up and they'll keep track of it for you. So, who's up for this first session?

Here's the gym's website, physical address and phone number

Also, if you are under 18, let me know so I can get you a copy of the waiver so you can get your parent/guardian to sign it, unless they will be driving you to the jam and can sign on the spot.

This would be much easier for me to do than a whole-day trip gym jam.
I'd love to do it, but I'd need a ride from someone in the UW area.

I actually used to attend this gym's adult classes. As far as being under 18, if your parents won't be bringing you to the gym (where they can sign the waiver), then I'll need to get you one they can sign.

I'm not sure, I'd have to find out. I kinda doubt it, to be honest.

Isn't this the same day as Rafe's Jam? Maybe in the future, if possible, the two jams could be on different weeks...

Well, really, you're going to have to choose. If we want to have lots of events going on all the time, they're bound to overlap. Now, since Auburn and Burlington are about 1.5~2 hours away from each other, for a lot of people it will likely be a geographic choice as to which to go to. Also, what weekends that are scheduled in each gym will be up to the individual gym, so... we kind have to go w/ what they have open. I'm sure sometimes they'll be on different days and sometimes they'll overlap.
